The handover took place in the presence of the Mayor of Myjava, Ing. Ľubomír Halabrín, his predecessor Pavel Halabrín, and representatives of 20 non-profit organisations.

On behalf of SLOVARM, the financial donations were presented by Radovan Pobočík, Chief Executive Officer of SLOVARM, while Energy Group was represented by Member of the Board, Peter Špak.

For the past 20 years, companies within Energy Group have been supporting local organisations focused on helping people in need, those facing illness or social difficulties, as well as organisations promoting culture and folklore, and initiatives supporting children. Today, the operation of non-profit organisations largely depends on grants and corporate sponsorship contributions.

For this reason, Energy Group and the management of SLOVARM have once again decided, in 2026, to donate a total of €7,000 to the following non-profit organisations:

Hospital with Polyclinic Myjava – voluntary blood donors
Local Organisation of the Slovak Union of Anti-Fascist Fighters
Pensioners’ Club Myjava
Slovak Union of Persons with Disabilities
Union of Women of the Town of Myjava
Social Services Myjava, n.o.
Association for Helping People with Intellectual Disabilities
Organisation of People with Chronic Illnesses
Abstainers’ Club
Education of Myjava Roma Community – Khamoro Community Centre
Pampúšik Mother and Child Centre
Slovak Red Cross
Tourism Development, n.o.
MYajVY Community Centre
BIBS Dance School
Municipal Nursery Myjava
DDS Úsvit
Nezábudka
Union of Pensioners Myjava

In their speeches, both the Mayor and his predecessor expressed their gratitude to SLOVARM, its management and its owner, highlighting the regularity and long-standing tradition of this support as particularly important. Former Mayor Pavel Halabrín estimated that over the past 20 years, SLOVARM has supported non-profit organisations in Myjava with more than €110,000.

In his address, Chief Executive Officer Radovan Pobočík emphasised that supporting the local community in the area where the company operates is a natural priority for SLOVARM. The company regularly supports non-profit organisations, sports clubs and cultural events in the region.

Representatives of the non-profit organisations expressed their individual thanks for the support and outlined how the funds will be used. The Haematology and Transfusion Department will use the funds to improve conditions and enhance the environment for blood donors, while the Slovak Union of Anti-Fascist Fighters shared information about their recent activities.

Most organisations will use the financial contribution to improve the functioning of their activities, which are voluntary, selfless and often dependent on this type of support.

We are pleased that this cooperation has been thriving for over 20 years.
