The aim of the survey was to measure overall employee
satisfaction. The questions covered topics such as job satisfaction, work-life
balance, career development
opportunities, education, satisfaction with the work environment, catering,
communication, remuneration, benefits, etc. Employees were also given the
opportunity to nominate an “Employee of the Year” in the questionnaire.
Three hundred questionnaires were distributed during
the survey with a total of 58% of employees taking part in the survey. We
assume that the questionnaire survey is mainly completed by employees who are
interested in improvement and want to be part of the improvement processes, and
therefore the information obtained can be considered very valuable.
Employees rated the work team and job stability at
Energy Group companies most positively.
The survey results have shown that employees are most
motivated by the feeling of a job well done and by financial remuneration.
Above all, they would like their working environment to be improved, and they
would like to be better informed about what is happening in the company.
The questionnaires also asked about satisfaction with
the implementation of investments in 2022. That year, HKS Forge renovated its
locker rooms and showers, with which 81% of respondents are satisfied. At
Slovarm, 90% of employees see the opening of the merchant centre as an
excellent investment for the public and business partners.
As many as three employees were nominated for the
Employee of the Year at Slovarm with the same number of votes, namely Ms Lenka
Mizeráková, Mr Slavomír Omasta and Mr Lukáš Valent, at HKS Forge it was Mr
Patrik Popovič, and at Prematlak it was Mr Emil Jamrich.
The survey also helped to identify areas for
improvement at the companies thanks to the employees’ responses and thus to
take the necessary steps and measures.
All the findings from the questionnaire survey will be
used to improve the working atmosphere. They set a good example for other
employees to partake in the survey in the future. That way, they will
contribute to the objectification of the data and to the improvement of the
working environment and communication between management and employees.
We thank all colleagues for their feedback provided
via the questionnaire.
